Ah Instagram how we love you. Your pleasingly square photographs, your array of filters - you turn our ugly duckling photos into beautiful, elegant swans. Top of the list is @muradosmann, whose profile has been creating quite a buzz of late. Each image features the photographer's impossibly toned girlfriend, leading him by the hand towards something in the distance. You can take a trip around the world as you flick through his images, from the Colosseum in Rome to Machu Picchu and The Moulin Rouge - each shot is accompanied by his signature #followmeto

Katie Rodgers' stunning fashion illustrations have been commissioned by the likes of Swarovski, Kate Spade and Valentino. She uses her Instagram account like a digital sketchbook, so you can flick through her gorgeous watercolour designs at various stages of their completion.

Under a bridge, off the back of a boat, at the top of a building, at the foot of a building, at sunrise, at sunset, in a blizzard, through a window - who knew there was so many ways to see New York? The 1.3m followers of @NewYorkCity did! If you've never been before, this account is sure to give you wanderlust.

@annstreetstudio

There seems to be an NYC theme developing here, as next on the list is Manhattan based @annstreetstudio, an account run by photographers Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg - creators of the cinemagraph (if you're unfamiliar with their work, take a look at The Optimist's post here.) The couple spend their days shooting beautiful faces in beautiful spaces, so their Instagram account is brimming with gorgeous behind the scenes snaps.

Instagram is crawling with fashion bloggers, but these are the pick of the best. First, @thepetticoat whose daily shots of covetable outfits are permeated with artsy sunsets, occasional quotes and unfathomably polished fashionistas. Jealousy inducing for sure.

@collagevintage

Fashion blogger Sara Escudero is definitely worth a green tick too. She posts shots of her charming outfits daily, with links to the key pieces in their online stores. Don't get Sara's account confused with that of @collagevintage2 though - this is the account run by her boyfriend and photographer Diego. He's clearly got an eye for the well dressed lady, as his shots showcase the best in street style from London, Paris and New York fashion weeks.

@dyerandjenkins

If it's well dressed men you're after, look no further than @dyerandjenkins, whose impeccably styled denim comes with accents of flannel, beard and ruggedness. Ramshackle log cabins, atmospheric mist and models that look like Norwegian lumberjacks, what's not to love?
